At Saetta’s makerspace in Amsterdam, you get access to a fully equipped, flexible workshop rental space, perfect for fixing, building, or experimenting. Whether you’re repairing a bike, customizing a boat part, prototyping something new, or learning to use tools, this is your space, rented by the hour, day, or project.
Using the Makerspace: Workshop Rental Options and Pricing
Book Your Space
Rent a workbench or square meters, with electricity included up to 250W (higher power requirements up to 3500W are available at an extra cost). The workshop operates in 4-hour blocks, each priced at €20:
  Morning: 09:00–13:00
  Afternoon: 13:00–17:00
  Evening: 17:00–21:00
You can book one or several consecutive blocks to match your workflow, and only pay for the time blocks you are present. If you’d like to leave your project or materials in the workshop overnight, storage is available:
  Workbench / outboard stand / bicycle stand: €15/day
  Paint booth or dinghy stand: €30/day

I rented a workbench, circle saw and some working tools last week to start on a wall shelve system. Since I didn't have the proper tools myself let alone the space in my appartement I was pleased to find this makerspace. Miguel helped me with some basics and was very pleased with the result. Would definitely come again for my next project.

Great place<3 had to fix a small smb in my project while traveling and found this great place to fix it. Was clean and a lot of tools for almost any task, wood or mechanical also 3d printers. Great shop with loots of possibilities. Ask if you need anything 👌 now I can continue to work on my project (supposed to have a 24/7 run-time so ❤️)

Great experience at Saetta! I came in for a small DIY project: making a custom window cover panel for my portable air conditioner hose. The space had all the tools I needed, and it was sooo much easier than trying to cut and finish the panel at home. Miguel, the owner, was super helpful and made the whole process much smoother. He keeps the place in tip-top condition, everything is cleverly organized, so that it's super easy to navigate even when it's your first time here. A perfect place for a DIY woodworking project in Amsterdam Noord/NDSM. Definitely recommend!

I’ve used this space twice now and both times had a great experience. Miguel is very responsive and really tries to accommodate your needs. I’m working on a custom light installation and didn’t have the space / tools in my apartment so this was a great find. It’s very clean and organized and if I ever had any questions Miguel was there to help. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Geweldige plek, fantastische faciliteiten en fijne mensen! Wij hebben thuis geen ruimte om een teak kast te renoveren en contact gezocht met Miguel die de spuitcabine ter beschikking stelde. Doordat Miguel graag opgeruimd en georganiseerd werkt, is er geen stof op de kast te zien. Verder is Miguel super behulpzaam. Wij zijn erg blij met het resultaat en de hulp van Miguel! Zeker een aanrader voor mensen in Amsterdam Marina en/of een appartement op de NDSM. Dank Miguel!
