About

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of living on a boat. The idea of independence, self-reliance, and being able to shape your own environment really resonated with me. When I finally bought my boat, I quickly discovered just how many corners had been cut—zip-tied fixes, rushed jobs, and systems that just didn’t make sense. It didn’t sit right. I wanted a boat I could trust in a storm, something I could rely on completely.

So I dove in. I took courses, spent countless hours researching, watching videos, and—like most people learning by doing—made a few mistakes and learned from them. Over time, my boat evolved. After crossing the Atlantic and spending seasons afloat, one thing became very clear: my boat wasn’t perfect, but it was solid, well-prepared, and easy to fix. And most importantly, I knew how to fix it.

Eventually, word got around: “If something’s broken and you need a tool, go see Miguel.”

But keeping a boat in good shape isn’t easy—especially when you’re missing the space, the right tools, or even just someone to bounce ideas off. That’s why I started Saetta CNS. It’s a makerspace and workshop built not just for me, but for others too. A space to fix, build, experiment, learn, and get hands-on with the projects that matter—whether it’s marine work, custom fabrication, or just finally getting around to that side project you’ve had in mind.

At its core, Saetta CNS is about self-reliance, craftsmanship, and community. Whether you’re working on your own boat, building something from scratch, or curious to learn new skills, this space is for you.

But of course, sometimes you just don’t know how—or simply don’t want—to do the work yourself. And that’s perfectly fine. That’s why I also offer professional boat repair and maintenance services. Whether it’s engine work, system upgrades, or troubleshooting those annoying “mystery problems,” I’m here to help you get back on the water with confidence.
